About Our Coaches
Coaches Stone, Valentini and McAlpin bring many years of Physical Education experience to the gym. Coach Mac and Coach Valentini are at Rasor full-time. Coach Stone is at Rasor for Grades 3,4 and 5 and then coaches football for the Plano Wildcats.

Joey Stone (3,4,5 PE Specialist/PSHS Football Coach)
Joey Stone is beginning his twelfth year teaching physical education at Rasor Elementary. He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation, minoring in Biology. In the afternoons, Coach Stone is the Offensive Coordinator/Running Backs Coach for the Plano Senior High School Football Team. Coach Stone enjoys spending his spare time with his beautiful wife, daughter, and dogs.
Amanda Valentini (K-5 P.E. Specialist)
Amanda Valentini, a product of Plano ISD and graduate of Plano Senior High School, is beginning her twelfth year as PE coach for Rasor Elementary. She graduated from Austin College in 2004 with B.A.'s in Psychology and Exercise & Sports Science. In 2005, she earned her Master of Arts in Teaching. A former collegiate swimmer, Coach Valentini was the Head Coach for the Plano East Senior High School Swim Team in 2006-2014. Coach Valentini enjoys participating in many sports in her free time and also loves spending time with her husband and daughters.
Patti McAlpin (K-5 P.E. Specialist/Team Leader)
Patti McAlpin graduated with a BS in PE from Texas Tech University in May 1980. After many years in retail management, she started her teaching career at Stinson Elementary in Plano ISD. She spent 6 wonderful years there. She moved to San Antonio to take care of her terminally ill Mother and taught PE for two years at Longs Creek Elementary. She is excited about her ninth year as a Rasor Rocket and Specials Team Leader!
